UNA-USA PR Chapter, Inc. (UNA-USA PR) is a non-profit corporation (Department of the Treasury 1101.01 & IRS 501 (c) (3), organized under the laws of Puerto Rico on October 10, 1996 (Board of Directors and Advisory Council), affiliated with the United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA); a program of the United Nations Foundation.

To transform lives honoring the legacy of Pablo Casals and the United Nations.
Mission
UNA-USA PR coordinates programs and activities in education and volunteerism.
Through the Model United Nations Program and United Nations Student Organizations; students (6th grade to university level) are exposed to the work of the U.N. while developing skills such as critical thinking, oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, negotiation, conflict resolution, tolerance, dialogue, group work, and consensus building — in this way, empowering them with knowledge and skills to help them become successful professionals and responsible citizens.
Simultaneously, UNA-USA PR collaborates on local and international sustainability initiatives.
